In 2007, Texas passed Jessica’s Law to protect our children.

Norma Chávez was 1 of only 17 members of the Texas House to vote against it. Why would anyone vote AGAINST keeping our children safe? Is this who we want representing us in Austin?

After the FBI began investigating corruption in El Paso County – where 14 individuals eventually pleaded guilty to bribery, fraud, and other crimes – a bill was introduced to establish a local Ethics Commission.

Norma Chávez was charged with trying to kill the bill and borrowed Trump's favorite term, calling the bill a "witch hunt"
